Timothy Carmello is an American actor, writer and director. At sixteen years of age, his professional performance career began at Sesame Place Amusement Park, and he quickly learned how lucrative and sweaty show business can be. At Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA and Goldsmith's College of London, Timothy received his education. During his studies Timothy impressed with performances as Lucio in "Measure for Measure", Uncle Peck in "How I Learned to Drive" and the Sergeant of Police in "The Pirates of Penzance".  Immediately after his formal schooling, Timothy worked as a performer in Lehigh Valley region, Philadelphia, PA and Camden, New Jersey. Favorite professional roles include Proteus in "The Two Gentlemen of Verona", and Tom in Christopher Durang's "For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls". Philadelphia credits include: Philadelphia Shakespeare Festival's repertory season featuring Othello and The Taming of the Shrew, two national tours with Enchantment Theater Company, two Tribe of Fools’ Philadelphia Fringe Festival entries as a performer and writer, two summers of outdoor theater with Commonwealth Classic Theater Company and twenty Fun With Eggs Sketch Comedy productions as a performer, director, writer and producer.

In 2010, Timothy Carmello took his talents to NYC and his work appeared at: Dixon Place, The Tank Theater, Brick Theater, Sophies At Broadway, The Culture Project, Columbia University and The Magnet Theater. From 2012-2016, he trained extensively with Anne Bogart's SITI Company, and even gained admission to their 2014 Conservatory Program. Timothy continues to write, direct, and perform and made his return to NYC stages in the Chain Theater’s 2025 Winter Short Play Festival. Timothy’s work is often described as grounded, honest, humorous, and underscored with a mischievous subversiveness.
